Good Morning! It's Thursday. I'm excited. This week has seemed long and I'm ready for my weekend; ready for some rest! Today I started out in Hebrews. There were a few passages I found interesting but the one I wanted to share was Hebrews 4:1-2. Hebrews 4:1-2 Therefore, since the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed. The verses before, at the end of chapter 3, explains that the Hebrews were not able to enter the promise land because of their unbelief. In Hebrews 3:7, there is a warning from the Holy Spirit not to ignore God's voice as the Hebrews did. They didn't believe, and because of it they never entered the promise land, God's rest.
